AppearMe provides an online platform that connects appearance attorneys (“Appearance Attorneys”) with individuals that want to hire an appearance attorney (“Consumer Clients,” “Lawyer Clients”).
You can always review, correct, or update your Personal Information by changing the relevant settings in your AppearMe account. Applicable law (such as the Directive) may also give you the right to access, update and correct inaccuracies in information about you in our platform. Information We Collect
We collect the following information: your name, surname, username, email address, phone number, photo (if you choose to provide it) and other personally identifiable information when you sign up for the Services (“Personal Information”). AppearMe may request that Appearance Attorneys, Consumer Clients, and Lawyer Clients provide: (i) first and last name, (ii) email address, (iii) phone number, (iv) short bio. If you choose not to provide the requested information, you may not be able to use some or all of the features of the Services. We may also collect other Personal Information from you when you access the Services and/or other parts of the Website and/or Apps and elect to provide Personal Information.
The Services facilitate communications between Appearance Attorneys and Consumer Clients/Lawyer Clients. In connection with facilitating these communications, we may receive call or SMS message data, including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the SMS message. We use this information solely for the purpose of facilitating such communications.
Our App may collect certain additional information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the App. We may also determine your approximate location from your IP address.

We may use your Personal Information for the purpose for which it was provided, including without limitation for the purposes described further below:

From time to time, we may establish a business relationship with other businesses that we believe to be trustworthy and have privacy practices consistent with ours, including our affiliates (“Service Providers”). We only provide our Service Providers with the information necessary for them to perform these services on our behalf.
